Camp Crop A Lot

Hi Everyone,

I am having the best time at my first scrapbooking get-a-way!!!! Not much sleep going on, but loads of laughter and good times. We did a round robin tonight. You had to have pictures for a 2 page layout. They needed to already be matted and on 12 x 12 paper. Then you wrote a brief description of what the event was, when, who, etc.... After passing our layouts to the left so that all 10 of us got to put our own touches on them, this is how mine turned out!!!! I love it. This is my oldest, Tucker when he was about 2 years old. In the first one, he is one Cool Dude!!! In the next page he had gotten into oreo cookies and then tried to help his Dad with some handywork. I absolutely love the personal touches these ladies added to my pages!!!
Check out the oreo cookies!!!! Too cute. Have a great weekend.

Cricut Circle Challenge #16

Challenge #16 Cricut Circle

Weekly Challenge at Cricut Circle

*** Please look at more recent post for a photobucket image of this challenge. For some reason I could not make my picture enlarge under this post.***

Hi Everyone,

I have entered the weekly challenge over on the Cricut Circle Blog. This is only the second challenge I've ever entered. It was so much fun. I got a chance to remember when my oldest met his little brother for the first time. He looks like he's asking, "Is he mine? Can I keep him?" He was so excited. I hope you enjoy.

Challenge sketch

The title was cut from Boys Will Be Boys at 1 1/2". The puppy was cut from Create a Critter at
1 1/2" also. The word blurb was cut from George and Basic Shapes at 2". The Plane is a stamp from the Martha Stewart Stamp set Toy Transportation. I used jute twine to make the "Big Brother" appear to be trailing from the plane. Ink for the plane was from Hampton Art a la mode in aqua. The scallop border is a punch from Marth Stewart. The paper was from My Mind's Eye Bohemia collection. The solid paper was from Recollections. The stripe paper is a DCWV Christmas stack. The polka dot paper is from My Mind's Eye Just Dreamy Stack. Assorted red buttons were used. The ink of the word blurb is from a red glitter Cello Magika 101.

Valentine's Treats

My blogging goal for 2011 is to stay a month ahead. I want to show you treats and party ideas for the upcoming month's holiday. This month I will be featuring Valentine's Day. I have made a few treat ideas that are great for school or work. One is an M & M stick. These have a cute little hedgehog on them that says, "Quill you be mine?". One of my all time favorite treat ideas is the sour cream container. These were done in red with a cuttlebug heart folder. They are filled with hershey kisses. The seal on the front says, "Seal'd with a kiss". These two ideas came from a wonderful fellow crafter, Candace, of Papercrafts with Candace. She led me to a great website, Clear Dollar Stamps which I used for some of my sayings. Check out her facebook page for more great creations. The third treat was my creation. It holds a snack pack of M&M's. It has a cute dragon fly on the front and says Love Bug.

I also made some other little Valentine critters that can be used on any of these treat ideas. New for 2011, I will take orders for treat bags. Sayings and characters can be custom designed. Please email me for orders and pricing. The deadline for Valentine's orders is Feb. 1, 2011.

I am happy for anyone to look and re-create my treats but please give credit to those who came up with these ideas if you post on a blog or other website.
